Emmett Till
In 1955, fourteen year old Emmett Till was murdered for talking to a white woman. Read more about him here and then answer the following questions in the comments section. Civil Rights Webwork
For the past week, we have been studying the civil rights movement in honor of Black History Month. Check out the National Civil Rights Museum and the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute by clicking on this link. Hello
My name is Mrs. Roller and I teach ELL to grades 5-8 at Whitthorne Middle School. This year my students and I will share our academic adventures with world. We will combine our study of English through American history content material. Each lesson will have a language objective and a content objective.
