In 1955, fourteen year old Emmett Till was murdered for talking to a white woman. Read more about him here and then answer the following questions in the comments section. How would you feel if you had been one of Emmett Till’s friends? Would you feel angry, sad, or scared? Tell me how you would feel and give me two reasons why you would feel that way.

ELDA Boot Camp

Soon we will prepare for the English Language Development Assessment (ELDA). There are four parts to the ELDA exam: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Each day this week we will focus on one part of the exam. Here is a rough outline for the week.
